In 1985 as Herve Peungnet, now known as Herve Leroux, was walking thru a factory he saw some thrown away bands of undergarment fabric. Then the idea came to him; piece them together to make a formfitting bandage dress.
Peugnet pioneered the creation of bandage dresses, also named "body-con" (body-conscious) garments made using materials traditionally associated with foundation garments to create bandage dresses that would mold and shape the wearer's figure with its signature bandage-like strips.
